The increase in aid announced by Barbara Pompili on Thursday March 17 is effective from Friday April 15. Eligible households will therefore be able to claim an additional €1,000, in particular for boiler replacement work. The MaPrimeRénov’ aid is an aid for the energy renovation of individuals launched in 2020, it provides financial aid in particular for the replacement of a fossil fuel boiler with a boiler that uses renewable energy.

Who can benefit from the aid?
To benefit from these grants, you must be the owner of a single-family home or an apartment built more than 15 years ago. A home that must be occupied as a primary residence. To find out if you are eligible, it is best to go to the government website. monprojet.anah.gouv.fr, using your tax identification number. A simulation is available.
As for equipment, only three types are eligible. The manual or automatic boiler powered by wood or other biomass, heating production equipment powered byThermal solar energy and the geothermal or solar thermal heat pumps.
Up to 9,000 euros of help according to income
The calculation of the aid granted is based on income and the number of people in the household where the energy work will be carried out. In this calculation, the ecological gain generated by the work will also be taken into account. The total aid can reach up to 9,000 euros, according to the minister.
“With a heat pump, for example 12,000 euros, the rest will be only 3,000 euros for a modest home. This is equivalent to the cost of installing a gas boiler”, according to the website of the Ministry of Ecology.
How to apply?
You must first request a quote from a certified craftsman Recognized Guarantor of the Environment (RGE) to be able to carry out the approved work. Then just go to the site. www.maprimenov.gouv.fr to request help creating an account. A quote will be sent to you for an idea. And then you have to start working.
After you renew, all you have to do is transfer your invoices and supporting documents to the space you’ve created on the site. Once definitively assigned, the aid will be deposited in your bank account.
